According to the Central Bank report , the Govt. Institutions which have incurred the biggest losses in 2009 , not to mention the other State Institutions which are less loss incurring , are the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation which has registered a record loss of Rs. 12300 million .; the Ceylon electricity Board has suffered a loss of Rs. 7400 million ; the SL Transport Board lost Rs. 5183 million while the confirmed white elephant Mihin Lanka Airlines which was revived by the Govt. despite stiff opposition to its revival has lost Rs. 930 million. |
