In keeping with the policy ( or is it ?) of the Rajapakse Bros. Govt  to raise the prices of all milk foods , the price of Anchor and Ratthi has been increased to Rs. 180.00

Tamil evacuation issue.

The Bribery and Corruption Dept. has reported that the highest number of complaints against bribery and corruption in the History of Sri Lanka were reported in the year 2006.- an increase by 63 %  !
 
Minister’s monthly charges for his hiring Vehicle is Rs 292,000.00 !

It is reported that Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, a Minister under the Rajapakse Bros. Govt. has taken a vehicle on hire on a monthly payment of Rs. 292,000.00!
 
Monumental increase in Foreign debts reported!

The Foreign debts amount has increased by Rs. 108.6 billion, while in 2006 alone there is an increase in unpaid debt by Rs. 384.2 billion. Accordingly, the Govt’s  unpaid debts have increased by a colossal sum of Rs. 2606.5 billion at the end of last year.
