 The United National Party condemns the extremely disproportionate use of force by the Government of Israel against the flotilla of ships carrying aid to the besieged and impoverished population of Gaza Strip.
The military action by Israel has resulted in killing of many international humanitarian activists on board the vessels who attempted to break the crippling Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. The blockade of Gaza Strip is illegal, oppressive and counterproductive.
