Foreign  Minster Rohitha Bogollagama who had always been the cynosure of all eyes not for welcome reasons or for doing anything for the benefit of the country  has once again taken the toiling  tax payers for a ride by taking his cronies , henchmen , hangers on and stooges by flight to Jaffna two weeks ago just to curry favor with them to get their support at the  forthcoming General elections at which he is also a prospective candidate contesting  the Kotte electorate .

What a wonderful way a Minister is seeking support for elections after using or rather abusing the public funds  ! All these supporters were taken to Jaffna by plane at State expense.  Let alone this wasteful exercise, the Minister  had also made some rash remarks in his characteristic style while in Jaffna against the Indian fishermen as harassing the local counterparts.

The worst  irony of it all is, the President who rapped him for these lapses has taken Bogol with him on his Soviet Russia tour a few days ago.
